Waverley is a leading business location, benefitting from Enterprise Zone status and being home to the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) – an internationally renowned employment location that is home to Rolls-Royce, Boeing and a range of high-value manufacturers.
The AMP is a dynamic business community internationally renowned for cutting-edge manufacturing, developing Aerospace, Formula One and Olympic sports equipment-related products amongst others. It is situated just 2 minutes from Junction 33 of the M1 providing excellent access to the rest of the UK.
Nearly a hundred companies presently have a base at the AMP, occupying over 1m sq. ft of employment space and employing over 1,000 people. Rolls-Royce, Boeing and Dormer Tools are already on site, while the University of Sheffield have their Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre & its Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre on-site. It also built its Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre in 2014, training around 200 people per year to meet the future labour needs of the the sector.

As all of this land sits within the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone, financial incentives are available to companies relocating here, including Business Rate Relief.
