HARWORTH HAS A PROUD TRACK RECORD IN MASTERPLANNING AND DELIVERING SOME OF THE UK’S MOST IMPORTANT COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS. WE ARE ALSO BECOMING INCREASINGLY WELL-KNOWN IN DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY NEW COMMERCIAL UNITS TO COMMERCIAL OCCUPIERS ACROSS THE UK.

The most striking examples of our approach include Logistics North, the North West’s largest live commercial development, and the Advanced Manufacturing Park at Waverley in Rotherham – home to Rolls-Royce and Boeing and nationally renowned as a site of economic significance.

We are also developing a strong track record in developing our own commercial units for freehold or leasehold occupation or building them on others behalf. We built our first direct developments – two 26,000 sq. ft units – at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in 2014 on behalf of Rotherham Council.  Since then, we have built three further units totaling 65,000 sq. ft at Gateway 36 in Barnsley, whilst 2016 has seen us commit to speculatively building 179,250 sq. ft of new commercial space at Logistics North, Gateway 36 and the Advanced Manufacturing Park.

We are also managing the build out of two new speculative units at Logistics North funded by M&G Real Estate – part of Prudential Plc.  These units, totaling 400,000 sq. ft, will be practically completed in Q4 2016 – comprising over one-tenth of all speculative space currently being built in the North West.
