Logistics North offers the best speculative and design and build opportunities available for manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Since receiving outline planning consent in December 2013, 2.5 million sq ft of employment development has been completed or is under construction – emphasising the site’s prime position in the North West commercial market and the ability to deliver what occupiers need quickly. This includes two prime Grade ‘A’ logistics buildings, funded by M&G Real Estate and constructed by Harworth in 2016, that tackles head-on the limited existing supply of this type of unit in the region.
Logistics North has enjoyed an incredible start to 2017. Lidl (UK) purchased 43.71 acres to develop its new North West Headquarters which is anticipated to be built by 2018. This was followed by Whistl taking occupation of Logistics 225 – one of M&G Real Estate’s units – in January on a ten year lease.
May then saw Harworth entering a joint venture with the Lancashire County Pension Fund to develop out the next phase of the site, known as Multiply, which – once completed in 2018 – will provide a range of units from 20,000 sq. ft to 150,000 sq. ft. This was supplemented by Harworth’s decision to build its own speculative units, totalling 52,000 sq. ft, which are due to complete in Quarter 3 of 2017 and will be immediately available for leasehold occupation once built.
Aside from these units, oven-ready land for a further 1.5m sq. ft of commercial space is ready for freehold or leasehold occupation. For more information, either visit www.logisticsnorth.com, download the brochure below or contact our appointed agents.
