Cheryl joined Harworth in November 2017 as the Technical Manager. undertaking brownfield site engineering and environment due diligence for land acquisitions. Prior to Harworth, Cheryl worked with the Coal Authority in their Environmental Department, with responsibilities for delivering Defra’s Water and Abandoned Metal Mine (WAMM) Programme, focusing on sustainable remediation solutions for pollution resulting from historic mining activities. Prior to this, Cheryl has been both an Environmental Consultant and a Remediation Contractor, with expertise in contaminated land investigation and assessment, development of remediation strategies and working with a variety of stakeholders and communities to identify sustainable regeneration for areas affected by derelict and abandoned brown field sites.
