Further evidence of improved confidence in the Housing market across the North and the Midlands has come from Harworth’s sale of land for 34 new homes to be built in Higham, Derbyshire and a further 18 plots in Arkwright Town, east of Chesterfield.
4 acres of land was sold in Higham to Harron Homes, who intend to build a luxurious collection of 4 bedroom detached homes to an extremely high specification. Building of the development, called Oak View Gardens, has now started; further information can be found via the Harron Homes website.
1.39 acres of land off Hardwick Drive in Arkwright was sold to Firsure Ltd who intend to build 18 detached and semi-detached dwellings with garages. Construction of these homes is expected to begin in the second half of 2014.
