Harworth Estates, the UK property regeneration company, has completed a letting of three units with Living Power Ltd at Whitemoor Business Park as part of the ongoing expansion of its operations.
Living Power, part of the Reg Group, produces renewable electricity generated from its patented bioliquid, LF100, using modular generator units in a range of sizes. 5,000 sq. ft of space and 0.9 acres of yard is being used at Whitemoor for STOR (Short Term Operation Reserve). Living Power are also planning further expansion across Harworth’s Business Space across 2014; further details on Harworth’s space can be found at www.harworthestates.co.uk/property.
These deals also mark the letting of all current existing industrial units at Whitemoor Business Park. 4 acres is now left at the park for external storage and small-scale Design & Build opportunities, subject to planning.
Dave Travis, Business Parks manager at Harworth Estates said: “We are pleased to welcome Living Power Ltd to Whitemoor, providing further local employment opportunities to North Yorkshire and completing the line-up of strong local tenants. We also look forward to supporting their expansion across our other sites later in 2014”.
Ian Collins, Managing Director of Living Power Ltd said: “Whitemoor Business Park fits perfectly with Living Power’s operating model of developing renewable power generation plant on brown field sites with close proximity to electricity sub-stations. STOR will become increasingly important to the UK as ageing coal-fired power plant is closed in the coming years and Living Power is ideally placed to expand its green generation plant in response to the potential shortfall in capacity. We hope that Whitemoor is just the start of a successful working relationship with Harworth Estates across Yorkshire as Living Power looks to develop more sites and local employment in the next 2-3 years.”
