Harworth Estates has begun consultation on what should be included within its 558 acre Country Park at Logistics North, Bolton.
A full day workshop took place at St Andrew’s Church, Bolton, adjacent to the site itself, with over 30 people comprising technical officers, stakeholders and consultees in attendance. Harworth Estates and DTZ as appointed planning consultants covered a number of key issues on the day, including ecology, drainage and public amenities.
Based on the feedback received, detailed design work will now begin on the park, including detailed method statements and drainage strategies, prior to submission to the three local authorities which the Park falls within – Bolton, Salford and Wigan.
Harworth remains committed to delivering a high quality country park for both local communities and for the enjoyment of those that will eventually be working at Logistics North.
