Harworth Estates has signed four leases at two of its business parks in Yorkshire and Leicestershire, reflecting increased business confidence in the regions.
At Riccall Business Park in North Yorkshire, Harworth has leased:
- Unit C3 – a 1,040 sq ft industrial unit, to Gold Standard Nutrition LLP, a local business that creates pre-packed health foods. The unit, taken on a three-year lease, will act as a storage unit for a cold-store
- Unit A6 – a 207 sq ft office, to G&C Packaging Ltd on a two-year lease
At Asfordby Business Park near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, Harworth has leased:
- Unit C3e – a 602 sq ft office, to eSynergy Developments Ltd, which follows the expansion of its existing waste treatment facility at Unit E at the park in December 2014
- Unit C3b – a 210 sq ft office, to JT Fabrications (Leics) Ltd, a company that provides a range of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products to a range of clients nationally, an expansion of its existing 3,429 sq ft office/workshop
The four lease agreements follow Harworth’s commencement of more than £1 million of capital expenditure works to improve its business park space across the north of England and the Midlands, including upgraded office space and high-quality landscaping.

Riccall Business Park is a 104-acre development, located south of York, close to the A19 and 20 minutes from the M62. Asfordby Business Park is located to the east of Melton Mowbray and is less than half an hour from the M1. It is also one of the few sites in the Midlands with an on-site rail connection.
Units and development land are still available at both parks. Riccall Business Park has existing units to let of up to 65,000 sq ft and can also accommodate new smaller units on a design & build basis. Office and industrial units and development land are still available at Asfordby, with the site capable of accommodating a unit of up to 265,000 sq ft.
