Harworth Makes Promotions and Recruits Eight to Support Growth

Harworth Estates is pleased to announce that it has promoted some of its existing workforce and recruited new staff to support the delivery of an increased number of development projects.

Peter Henry has been promoted to the role of Development Director from his previous role of Technical Director. This is a new role that is being created to accommodate and support the increased number of schemes following Harworth securing planning consent for more than 2,000 new homes in 2015. To support this expansion, Duncan Armstrong Payne and Chris Davidson have been promoted to Associate Directors, Major Projects, whilst newly RICS-qualified Heather Foxen has become a Development Surveyor in order to accelerate the delivery of the company’s highest-value schemes.

Harworth has also created a Building Delivery team as it increases the number of units it builds either for letting or sale.  This team will be headed up by David Elliott who moves from a previous Project Manager role to take on the position of Director, Building Delivery.

Iain Thomson has also been promoted to the position of Group Partnerships and Communications Manager.  Iain will now be responsible for all media and stakeholder management work across the Group and will work with the company’s Financial Director Andrew Kirkman with financial communications to shareholders and the wider market.

Finally, Jenny Cutler has been appointed Group Financial Controller.  She replaces Simon Adams who leaves the company at the end of May to take up a Financial Director role at another Yorkshire-based business.
