It’s now been a year since Harworth Estates began the first phase of 3,890 new homes at Waverley, transforming open land into the beginnings of a new community.

Barratt Homes, Harron Homes and Taylor Wimpey began the building in Spring 2012 and the show home launch followed in September. The first residents of Waverley took occupation in December 2012, and as at May 2013, over 40 families have moved in.
Development is progressing swiftly and Harworth Estates is close to selling the next residential development land, which will increase the amount of activity on site even further.
Duncan Armstrong-Payne, Waverley Development Manager for Harworth Estates, commented, “We’re delighted with the success of the last twelve months. It’s hard to imagine that this was all open land only a year ago, as the first phase of the new homes and surroundings already feels established and homely.”
