eSynergy Leases 50,000 sq ft at Harworth’s Asfordby Business Park

Harworth Estates has completed a long-term lease agreement with eSynergy Developments Ltd, a waste collection and treatment company, near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.

Harworth has leased Unit E, which totals 50,000 sq ft, at Asfordby Business Park. ESynergy has signed a 10-year lease and will use the unit as an Environment Agency-approved Waste Electrical Recycling Facility as part of the company’s commitment to innovative recycling and uses for recovered materials.

Dave Travis, Business Parks Manager at Harworth, said: “We have put a lot of effort into enhancing our business park stock to encourage existing customers to renew their leases and to attract new customers. We have already completed eight new or renewed leases at Asfordby in 2014 and we are delighted to attract a well-respected, growing company like eSynergy to the park.

With eSynergy joining other leading companies, such as Network Rail and Benninghoven, at Asfordby, it shows how flexible our business space is for a range of customers”.

The building also offers unique dimensions which cater perfectly for our materials processing plant allowing us to work with the up most efficiency. Our company has grown rapidly over the past two years as environmental legislation has tightened therefore it was essential that we relocated to a site that would accommodate these demands and to grow responsibly.”

Asfordby Business Park is a 127-acre development near Melton Mowbray that benefits from having an onsite rail connection as well as being connected to the M1 motorway via the A46 trunk road. Office and industrial units and development land are still available at Asfordby, with the site capable of accommodating a unit of up to 265,000 sq ft.
