Harworth Group plc, a leading regenerator of land and property for sustainable development and investment, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Andrew Pexton as Regional Director for its North West region, as the team moves into an upsized office space in central Manchester.
Andrew joins from JLL, where he was a Senior Director leading the firm’s Manchester industrial & logistics team. Prior to joining JLL in 2020, he spent 26 years at Avison Young in Manchester, where he was latterly a director within its industrial & logistics team.
Andrew will lead Harworth’s 10-person North West team, which was formed in 2018 and today manages a portfolio with the potential to deliver 10.3m sq. ft of industrial & logistics space and around 7,500 residential plots. Active sites in the region include the 1.2m sq. ft Chatterley Valley site in Staffordshire, the 900-home Moss Nook brownfield regeneration scheme in St Helens, and a 1.1m sq. ft industrial & logistics schemes planned for Wingates in Bolton, close to the Group’s highly successful Logistics North development. The North West team also continues to promote a number of strategic land sites across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales.
Andrew’s arrival coincides with Harworth’s North West team moving into 7,000 sq. ft of newly refurbished office space on the sixth floor of the Trinity building in Manchester. The new office is located between the city’s traditional commercial district surrounding St Peter’s Square and its Spinningfields financial centre. This represents an upsizing of Harworth’s existing presence in Manchester, to support the team’s continued growth and future ambitions.
