Harworth Estates has scooped the 2013 South Yorkshire Property Deal of the Year award for its £7m sale of Evolution to Cornerstone, as reported on this website in February. Evolution is a 15 unit business park located on the Advanced Manufacturing Park which was developed in 2008 by UK Strategic, a joint venture between Harworth Estates and Strategic Sites. Evolution is fully let with units ranging from 2,300 to 27,000 sq ft, and tenants include Rolls-Royce, Dormer and and Xeros.
The sale of Evolution was conducted jointly by property agents Lambert Smith Hampton and Knight Frank, with legal representation from hlw Keeble Hawson. The park was acquired by Cornerstone, the real estate advisory and investment company.

The South Yorkshire Property Gala Dinner, sponsored by Harworth Estates, also saw Guy Gilfillan of Lambert Smith Hampton presented with the accolade Property Personality of the Year.
