Harworth Group plc has been shortlisted for two awards at the forthcoming Insider Yorkshire Property Awards 2020 for ‘Commercial Development’ and ‘Residential Development (over 50 homes)’.
The news follows the recent announcement that Harworth had been shortlisted for eight property awards, with the two latest shortlists now taking the total to ten.
The ‘Commercial Development’ nomination is tribute to the ongoing delivery of the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s (UAKEA) new nuclear fusion technology research facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park with construction currently at an advanced stage and practical completion due in the Autumn.
Harworth’s nomination for Waverley within the ‘Residential Development (over 50 homes)’ category has once again caught the judging panel’s attention this year following a number of key milestones achieved over the last 12 months. These include the delivery of serviced residential land to support the build out of a further 352 new homes, construction of the new Waverley Primary School and the completion of the latest phase of infrastructure works that provides a road link between Handsworth and Catcliffe that hasn’t been in place since the closure of the Orgreave Coking Works in 1990.
